Riddles is an attractive 18th Century character cottage ideally situated in a quiet road, a short walk from the picturesque village square of Corfe Castle.

On the ground floor the delightful sitting room has comfortable seating and a wood burning stove, set in a splendid inglenook fireplace, which makes this cottage perfect for any time of the year. There is an attractively furnished dining room, with stairs leading to the bedrooms.

At the rear of the cottage is a well equipped kitchen, with a door leading out to a secluded garden. From the kitchen, there is also a door leading to the ground floor bathroom, which is well equipped, with a bath, overhead electric shower, basin and W.C.

The stairs from the Dining Room, lead up to the bright, spacious main bedroom, which has a double bed and the pleasant second bedroom has full size bunk beds, suitable for children, big teenagers or even adults.

This character cottage is cosy and welcoming, and has some low ceilings and doorways. The stairs from the dining room to the bedrooms are typical of an older cottage and are steep, twisting, and with narrow steps in places.

The fully enclosed garden is accessed from the kitchen and has good quality garden furniture, which provides the perfect place for breakfast or for relaxing in the early evening sunshine. The garden has a delightful plum tree from where you can pick a selection of plums when they are in season to make a delicious crumble for dessert.

This is a charming, well appointed cottage, situated in the quietest part of the village of Corfe. There are some lovely country walks nearby and it is only 5-10 minutes’ walk to the village square with its shops, pubs, the castle and the steam train.
