Reviews

Green Leas is a very comfortable modern cottage in the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, with lots of fantastic walks right on the doorstep. We were without a car this year so it was a different sort of holiday for us. We had a great time, walking from the house or getting the bus to the start of a walk and walking back. The local pub is a few hundred metres away, with friendly staff and great food and drink. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked again for next year! We’ve booked with Corfe and Purbeck cottages for our annual walking holiday for the last 7 or 8 years. The staff are great and the properties are lovely, good value and in the middle of the stunning Isle of Purbeck. What’s not to like?

Lovely cottage in an ideal location and very helpful service from Corfe & Purbeck Holidays. All I wish is I could have stayed longer! Look forward to another visit. Thank you.

A comfortable cottage with a beautiful garden which the grandchildren love exploring. They are even happier at the property now, with the addition of WiFi. Good value accommodation, we will be back.

An enjoyable holiday in a comfortable property. We walked from the end of the garden towards Dancing Ledge, the views are amazing. We enjoyed a couple of meals in the garden of the Kings Arms pub in the village, the food was really tasty and good value.

Spent a lovely week here with my husband and our two children. Found the house to be very comfortable and clean. Friendly village with a lovely pub/deli! Loved the countryside walks from the door - a really super location. We hope to come again.

We did have a fantastic time. Green Leas is a very cosy cottage and a perfect all year-round location, as just short walk to buses for Swanage and many inland destinations. Great typical Dorset local pub, serves food, around corner, next to post office/well stocked shop. What more could you want? Took our Granddaughter as half term to Putlake Adventure Farm, also on doorstep, well worth a visit, especially with kiddies' Halloween disco! Plenty country walks/drives. Green Leas has it all.

We really enjoyed our stay at Green Leas. It was nice and warm and we could put the heating up or down as we needed it. It was in a lovely location with easy access to the coast and walking to Swanage and Worth Matravers (and the Square and Compass!). It was very quiet. It was nice being able to do things in the kitchen and still be within earshot of what was happening in the living room. We hope to come and visit Purbeck again soon.

We had a lovely stay at Green Leas - it was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was excellent including the shower. The cottage is in a nice quiet location and we enjoyed the lovely garden although the marvellous weather helped too. Overall, we had a lovely break.

We had a great time love the village second time there for us. The garden is beautiful. The house is in the right position for catching the buses both ways.
