Sali’s Orchard is a welcoming, three bedroom detached cottage set in an enclosed garden. It is approximately 10 minutes’ walk to the charming village square, with its selection of shops, pubs, the Swanage Railway and historic Corfe Castle and only a few minutes’ walk to open countryside.
Arriving at the cottage you park in the large driveway and enter into the bright conservatory where you will immediately feel at home. The conservatory has comfortable seating and provides an ideal place to sit and read one of the books from the selection on offer.
Double doors lead from the conservatory into an attractive living room with a stunning fireplace with wood burning stove. This is a spacious room, with ample comfortable seating and a TV with Freesat, ideal for a relaxing family night in. The dining area has a dining table and chairs for six people and offers views over the delightful garden.
Off the lounge, is a delightful fully equipped kitchen. There is a downstairs cloakroom with WC and basin.
From the hallway, the stairs are not steep and lead to three bedrooms, a pretty double bedroom, overlooking the beautiful garden and two pleasant twin rooms also overlooking the gardens. The bathroom has a whirlpool bath with overhead shower, WC and basin.
Part of the garage is partitioned off to provide a utility area with a tumble dryer, additional freezer and secure storage to store bikes, beach boards and even wet suits.

We have stayed at this lovely house 4 times. We absolutely love staying here. Only a short walk to Corfe and about 10 minute drive to Swanage. Corfe has a great local store for your every day goods. Even though the house is on a busy road, you forget about the cars etc going by. House has everything you could need and is clean and tidy when you arrive.
A comfortable cottage on the main road out of Corfe. Good equipment in kitchen and pleasant orchard garden facing the road
Great location for visiting local attractions. Large enclosed garden was good for the dog to run around in. Plenty of parking at the rear of the house.
The house was clean, warm and well equipped. There was lots to do in the area and it was lovely to come back and sit in the sunny conservatory. Thanks for a lovely holiday. We thought the house was great.
The property is well located and set back from the road; the parking was fantastic. The house is well furnished and equipped. The garden was perfect for our dog. Overall, this is a great place to stay.
We spent the Christmas week in this lovely cottage and it was perfect! Set well back from the main road through Corfe, with immaculate gardens and private off-road parking, it offered us plenty of space for the family to enjoy the festivities. It was our second Christmas spent in this property and we chose it again because it is so well equipped, has a log burner for cosy winter evenings, is extremely clean and comfortable and is kept well maintained by the owners, who obviously take a lot of pride in it. An added bonus is access to the utility room at the back of the garage which houses an additional fridge and freezer (definitely an asset at that time of year!) As it gets dark the whole garden lights up as if by magic. There were Christmas lights in every tree, the perimeter hedges and around the cottage itself, so a huge thank-you to the owners for taking the time to rig all this up for their visitors to enjoy. This year, the icing on the cake was the REAL Christmas tree, that was a lovely surprise and much appreciated, as were the festive hamper goodies, so thank-you Corfe and Purbeck Holidays, it’s those thoughtful little touches (like fresh milk in the fridge so you can enjoy a nice cuppa on arrival) that mean a lot and make the whole experience a more pleasurable one.
We have just spent a very pleasant week at Sali’s Orchard. The area of Corfe Castle is fast becoming one of our favourite places to visit with our two dogs, particularly out of the holiday seasons when it is very much quieter. Almost on the doorstep are lovely walks across the common offering fabulous views of Corfe Castle and by car you are on Studland Beach in about 15 mins, miles of pristine sand backed by sand dunes and heathland. This is a very comfortable cottage, well equipped with good quality furniture, furnishings and linen. There is a wide range of crockery, cutlery and more cooking utensils than I have seen in a rental cottage in a long time! This cottage has been very well thought through and really has everything you might need. The garden is sensibly fenced so that the dogs are quite safe and the parking area is well designed for turning to enable your exit onto the side lane which is quiet. I'm sure the garden is a lovely place to sit on a sunny afternoon although the road is quite busy. The conservatory is spacious, bright and comfortably furnished. A great place to spread out for a quiet read or space for children to play. With a downstairs loo and plenty of coat pegs it makes getting outdoor clothes and shoes off inside the conservatory so much easier. We have already booked our return to Sali’s Orchard!
Delightful stay in Salis Orchard, a cottage new to us this year. Our fourth rental with Corfe & Purbeck Holidays, and as usual we were not disappointed. All the cottages are comfortable with lovely views and convenient local facilities. Our holiday in Dorset was over far too quickly. We look forward to returning to Salis Orchard in August 2023 .
We would thoroughly recommend Corfe and Purbeck Holidays. This is the second time we have booked a stay at one of their cottages and despite our very late booking this year, due to a late cancellation, everything was ready for our arrival. We really enjoyed our stay at Sali’s Orchard. The kitchen is very well equipped and all the furniture and beds very good quality. The rooms are well decorated and it is a delightful and comfortable house. The only concern we had was regarding the bathroom, as the shower is over the bath, For us, it was difficult to stand in the bath to shower, and get in and out of it. The property is on quite a busy main road, especially in summer, but this did not detract from our enjoyment of the beautiful garden, as the house is set well back from the road and gets the afternoon sun. The garden is well fenced so our small dog could safely be allowed outside too. We relaxed in the large conservatory in the mornings, deciding where to go next to explore the lovely area. We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Sali’s Orchard.
Absolutely perfect, had a lovely time and will miss working in that conservatory with the sun shining in!
Just to say we had a lovely holiday. The house was perfect for us, very well equipped. As the weather wasn't great, we did take advantage of the washing machine and tumble dryer which was a bonus. We also loved the fact the garden was secure of the main road for our dog. The fact we had the heathland just over the road was fantastic for our morning walks. We love Corfe and am sure we'll be back.
Sali's Orchard ranks as one of the best cottages that we have stayed at over many years. Spotless on arrival for which many thanks. Well-equipped and ideal location. Secure, safe garden a bonus. We look forward to a possible return in 2020.
I just wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous week staying in Sali's Orchard last week. It was perfect for our needs and one of the best self catering cottages we have ever booked. The Corfe and Purbeck area is absolutely stunning. We will be back! Many, many thanks.
The week worked well for us, the house had ample space including getting the cot into a bedroom. We had a couple of bikes so the extra storage within the garage was more than useful, nice touch having a bike rack. The outdoor seating is a bonus to have and set within a very nice garden. This cottage's location is useful for anyone who wants to walk or cycle although just relaxing was always an option, to be honest we could have stayed longer, Thanks for the stair gate and a great holiday, I look forward to using your company in the future
We had a lovely week at Sali’s Orchard, obviously helped by the fantastic weather. The cottage was great and had everything we needed. The position of the cottage was great, just far enough out of the village to a paid to many people but very close for a walk in for sightseeing or eating. Thanks again for a fab week, we'll keep you in mind for future holidays. Ps, our dog loved the garden which was secure for him.
Thank you so much for another lovely week, so many walks on the door step and we can relax because try as he might our cavalier can't get out of the garden!!! A well-equipped comfortable house, hope to return soon.
Yet again we had a delightful stay in Corfe and the cottage was perfect for the week. We especially thought the effort put in to make the garden dog friendly was excellent, and everything was very clean and comfortable. We look forward to visiting again next year!
I just wanted to write to thank you for the very kind welcome pack and Christmas card, the Quality Street only lasted two days as they are my favourite !!!!! The house was really comfortable and the Christmas lights both inside and out were a delight. Once we learnt how to light the fire and operate the tv and dvd the evenings were so cosy despite the cold weather. We have gone away at New Year for many years with our good friends and I happily admit the house and the area around Corfe has made our stay one of the best. Thanks again and happy new year.
We had the most enjoyable holiday and love all that the cottage has to offer. Corfe is a beautiful village with its castle, steam train, common and lovely places to eat. We found the local people exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The nearby beaches of Studland , Swanage and rock pools at Kimmeridge were stunning and ideal for my three year old grand daughter and the dog. With the weather we had there was no need to go further afield to Monkey World or The Sea Life Centre in Weymouth which were on the cards for a rainy day!! We hope to be back to stay in one of your lovely properties next year. Very best wishes to you and thank you again.
